This weekend we were spoiled and decided to make Saturday a full on date day! We went to the Megaplex and saw the matinee of 'Social Network'. We went shopping at the mall and Halloween store, then went home for a little break. After our little break we headed to Farr's Ice Cream on 21st. Mmmmm we both chose cake batter which was the first time we had tried it, definitely getting that again someday!!!
After ice cream we headed to Harmon's and bought some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Yes, we have a problem. An eating problem. Me specifically? An eating sweets problem. After our stop at Harmon's it was finally dark enough to go to the corn maze! Woo hooo I was so excited! The first thing I noticed when we were standing in line was that there were little miniature teenagers EVERYWHERE. Holy annoying, I felt very old! We turned around and headed to the truck to go home. Then I was like wait a second... I'm gonna go to a corn maze if I darn well feel like it no matter how old we feel! Haha so we turned back around and got in line. It wasn't as good as I remember it being in Jr. High. I remember screaming like a little girl and running away, this time all we could do was laugh. It was a good time but I think we ended up cheating to get out. We followed another group of people along this very narrow path through to the front of the corn maze, and then to the exit. We think it was a path the "spooks" are only supposed to use, oops!
I'm really into fall and Halloween this year and I'm not sure why!
